Well, it’s a little more than just current loop adapter. The power unit interfaces directly with the EM and serializer. I have better insight into where signals are going and how power is distributed based on this teardown. But man, it’s convoluted.

Power unit pcb. Some traces were cut with a mill, apparently. The pcb dye penetrates more deeply on one side.
